I messed up not writing my blog last week and that is the reason I am catching up with my blog now. The human curse. We are perfect but incomplete. Habit is the ultimate achievement of repetitive learning. We hardly retain anything that we read one time because reading is very passive. We can read aloud and with a lot of enthusiasm, and retention might improve some because we are adding a little emotion. We can remember some more if the book is of a theme that we find very interesting so we put more concentration to internalize the material. We definitely retain more from a movie because motion causes more attention, and still we can not tell the whole story of a movie we just watched.
What I am trying to say with all this analysis is that we need to read, watch, hear something more than once, sometimes, many times, to grab the message of the media we are using for acquiring the information. That is why I am taking the Master Key Experience again. I am pretty sure I will be at a better level of mastering myself after this second run of MKE.
In Chapter three of the Master Key Experience, Haanel takes us through the learning of the difference between the physical and mental organs that allows us to live the physical and mental experiences. It tells us that with our understanding of the origin and methods to utilize those organs, we eliminate fear and illness. Recognizing the source of all power, and understanding that our predominating mental attitude defines the experiences that we are living, gives us enormous power to design the type of lives we want to live. The Universal Mind is the creative principle of the Universe, and we are one with the Universal Mind.
In Chapter Four, Haanel teaches us about Thought, its nature, its relation to the Universal Mind, how thought is carried and formed into the physical equivalent. Haanel also describes to us how by applying our concentrated thought onto the static Mind, the Universal Mind, we manifest what our intense and emotional concentrated desired craves. Our subconscious mind taps into the universal and its infinite resources, and our consciousness can decide how and with what thought we are to influence our subconscious to attain what we want. We are extremely powerful thanks to the communication, coordination, and harmony that takes place with this process.
My physical and mental control is improving, my sit is becoming more productive. I am grateful for my progress.
Thanks for visiting and reading my blog. Did you claim your 7-day Mental Diet? How are you doing with it?
Leave me a comment and come next week.
